Going back to how Baby Bod started and where it is headed now.

Over 30 Years ago

I struggled with postpartum

I am not only a mother; I am a physical therapist with a passion for helping women with the often-overlooked postpartum issues described above. It is easy for me to relate to other moms because I suffered with recurrent back pain and a leaky bladder for years.

I tried several different exercise programs and even a biofeedback program for months at a time. Nothing helped, until I developed an evidenced based exercise program called Baby Bod®.

2015

Baby Bod Book Release

I wrote the groundbreaking self-care program for pregnant and postpartum women. Baby Bod® to provide women with a gentle, effective solution to restore their health and wellness inside and out after giving birth. It was the first DIY step-by-step program that can be started during pregnancy, one day after delivery or even years after becoming a mother.

Who is Marianne Ryan?

Marianne Ryan is frequently interviewed by publications including Wall Street Journal, USA Today, New York Times, Redbook, Fitness Magazine, Shape Magazine and numerous Internet based magazines. She has been interviewed on many TV and radio shows and was featured in a documentary by the Tribeca Film Institute. Her international best selling book Baby Bod - Turn Flab to Fab in 12 Weeks Flat is available on Amazon.com

After qualifying from Hunter College, as a physical therapist, Marianne’s past experience includes working in a general hospital along with sports physical therapy centers. For the past 30 years, Marianne’s main focus has been on implementing manual therapy techniques in spinal care, TMJ and total body treatment (including sports injuries). In addition she has extensive experience in treating Prenatal and Postpartum patients with particular emphasis on high-risk pregnancy and postpartum fitness.
